We are delighted to announce that Lombard Odier has been awarded ‘Best initiative of the year in relationship management technology globally’ at the 2019 PWM Wealth Tech Awards. PWM, or Professional Wealth Management, is an industry magazine owned by the Financial Times.

The awards celebrate excellence in wealth management technology. Our success was achieved in a fiercely competitive environment. Well over 50 private banks entered the 2019 Awards, reflecting the esteem in which they are held and the sector’s growing investment in technology infrastructure. 

A judging panel of ten industry leaders scrutinised the entries, calling ours “unquestionably the best in this category.”

The award recognises the strength of our client-facing technology.  It reflects our long-term vision to build an industry-leading, single, global platform, and the proprietary expertise we have spent 25 years investing in. We are now working on the next generation of technology solutions, implementing more agile ways of working, and bringing our private client and technology units closer together to create fresh perspectives.

A major role in the client experience

The award was collected by Christophe Moenne-Loccoz and Arash Sorouchyari from our Technology & Operations business unit at a cocktail reception at the Financial Times’ headquarters in London on 27 June. 

“Our technology has an important role to play in transparency and communications. Our clients can interrogate data on their portfolio performance in many different ways, which results in much better informed interactions between them and our bankers, wealth planners and investment experts,” he added.

This award adds to a growing stable of accolades won recently for our technology solutions. They include ‘Best European Private Bank – Investment Management Platform’ and ’Best UK Private Bank – Investment Management Platform’ at the European WealthBriefing Awards 2019, ‘Best Digital Wealth Solution’ at the 2019 PAM Awards, and ‘Best Bank for Digitally Empowering Relationship Managers, Europe’ at the 2018 PWM Wealth Tech Awards.
