Lombard Odier appoints Frédéric Praz as Head of the France, Belgium and Luxembourg region

Bank Lombard Odier & Co Ltd (“Lombard Odier”) is pleased to announce the appointment
of Frédéric Praz as Head of Private Client activities for the France, Belgium and Luxembourg region as of 1 September 2024. Based in Geneva, he will report to Frédéric Rochat, Managing Partner and Co-Head of the Private Clients activity, and will join the Private Clients Executive Committee.

With over 30 years of experience in the banking sector, Frédéric Praz has been Head of the Swiss International market at Lombard Odier since 2017. Prior to this, he held a variety of key positions at UBS, where he began his career in 1992. Among these roles, Frédéric successfully managed a team dedicated to the French UHNW client base for nearly six years, before taking over responsibility for a part of the French HNW client base from 2015 to 2017.

Frédéric Praz will be in charge of pursuing and strengthening Lombard Odier’s growth strategy in the European Francophone markets, a strategic region for the Group. He will supervise the different teams responsible for these markets within the private bank. Frédéric Praz’s appointment is part of Limited Partner Gérard Felley’s succession plan, ensuring a smooth transfer of his responsibilities as he approaches retirement. In the meantime, Gérard Felley will continue his duties as Head of the Grandes Familles teams and will remain a member of the Private Clients Executive Committee.
