Thuy-Mai - Math 2010
Analyst, Global Equities
I started my career at Lombard Odier in 2012 and never looked back! I started out as an intern, in the equities team, at Lombard Odier Asset Management. At first, my role was to build out simple tools to help monitor portfolio risk but then I was fortunate enough to stay on in the team and was trained to become an equity analyst for the emerging markets. Today, I am in charge of creating a common framework for all equity portfolio managers and providing them with in-house developed software to help them follow a shared investment process.
My job allows me to bring together my academic quantitative background and my fundamental analytical skills that I acquired here at Lombard Odier. It is certainly a challenging role, as I have to consolidate all the investment guidelines of the CIO (Chief Investment Officer), the different investment styles of the Portfolio Managers and our quantitative capabilities.
Nathalie - Syscom ’09
Digital Marketing Manager
I have been working at Lombard Odier since 2009 in several roles. I started as a Market Data Specialist. Then I continued as the head of IT projects for Branch Offices. Later, I was responsible for the Service Level Agreement of all our partners (financial institutions to whom we are providing our IT and Banking Infrastructure). And now I’m in charge of projects in the Marketing Digital team. Every job was different, but what they all had in common was the fact that I was always in charge of challenging transversal projects.
Francesco - Electrical Engineering ’91
Head of Wealth Management Solutions
I hold a masters degree in Electrical Engineering from EPFL, where I graduated in 1991. I started my career as a software developer in aeronautics and physics. Then, after 10 years, I moved into the finance industry. I joined Lombard Odier in 2002 as a business analyst. I’m currently working in the IT department, where I’m in charge of the development of front office applications including portfolio management systems, customer relationship management applications, and client reporting tools. My job involves leading a team, interacting with business users and external clients, understanding business requirements and defining product roadmaps.
