Episode 1 – Welcome to Lombard Odier’s “Empowering Investors” Video Series

Investing may seem complex, but it can be foundational to helping you achieve your financial goals. So where should you start? Let’s begin with this introduction video from Rosa Perez Esteve, Head of Special Mandates at Lombard Odier.

Episode 2 – What is asset allocation?

In this episode of our “Empowering Investors” series we explore asset allocation – the process of spreading (or diversifying) your investments across various asset classes such as stocks, bonds, and cash in order to manage risk.

Nannette Hechler-Fayd’ Herbe, Head of Investment Strategy, Sustainability and Research, and CIO EMEA at Lombard Odier, explains how effective asset allocation supports a successful investment strategy.

Episode 3 – Exploring risk profiles

Next, we will explore risk profiles – how comfortable you are with investment risks. Knowing your risk tolerance helps us tailor your portfolio to align with your goals and personal comfort.

Hilda Ferrero, Head of Client Portfolio Management at Lombard Odier, explains how defining your risk profile can shape your portfolio.

Episode 4 – Understanding asset classes

Following that, we’ll dive into asset classes – categories of investments that behave similarly in the market. Each asset class, such as stocks, bonds, or alternatives, carries different risks and rewards.

Selina Keshavji, Head of Centralised Advisory at Lombard Odier, explains how asset classes form the foundation of successful investing.

Episode 5 – A deep dive into private assets

We’ll also focus on private assets, which include investments like private equity and private real estate, that are not traded on public markets. Private assets are often riskier and less liquid than publicly traded assets, but offer unique opportunities for growth.

Carine Hermon, Head of Private Assets Distribution at Lombard Odier, dives into this growing asset class.

Episode 6 – Behind the scenes of Portfolio Construction

In our final episode, we bring together key concepts from our series – asset allocation, risk profiles, and asset classes – to explore the process of portfolio construction. Building a well-balanced portfolio is key to long-term financial success.

Nanette Hechler-Fayd’ Herbe, Head of Investment Strategy, Sustainability and Research, and CIO EMEA at Lombard Odier, explains how we construct portfolios that align with your financial goals.
