Lombard Odier wins award for sustainable technology

For the 2nd year in a row, Lombard Odier has been honoured with the “Best Private Bank for ESG Technology" award by the PMW Wealth Tech Awards. This accolade was announced during a live ceremony on 23 June. It confirms our long-standing commitment to sustainability and innovation and our leading technological expertise. The annual PWM WealthTech Awards are organised by the Financial Times Group, and these awards celebrate the companies that are defining the wealth management digital landscape.

Technology has always been an enabler of sustainability. At Lombard Odier, it plays an important role in helping us meet our sustainability objectives as our global economy transitions towards a CLIC^® (Circular, Lean, Inclusive & Clean) model. Companies are central in the shift towards sustainability. At Lombard Odier, using technology, we identify those companies that will prosper and those that have the vision to adapt in this new, CLIC® economy. When analysing companies, we reach beyond traditional ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) metrics that look at the company's business practices.

“Lombard Odier was singled out by the judges for being able to combine sustainability criteria for investment with digital delivery. This elusive combination is claimed by other private banks, but Lombard Odier is one of the few able to deliver. The Geneva-based bank has been a pioneer in ESG investment, but it still has some humility and a willingness to learn, particularly when overcoming challenges around data," noted Yuri Bender, Editor of PWM and Wealth Tech Awards judge.
